It was a busy week for JV water polo, playing 6 games in as many days. On October 9, we lost to Sacred Heart Prep 17-2. On October 11, we came up short against Menlo 9-5. Over the weekend, the team went 2-2 in the NorCal Tournament, with wins against St. Mary's and Valley Christian and losses against Miramonte and Las Lomas.
On Monday, varsity played SHP and lost 12-5. Zach Cain played great in this game. He got tons of huge saves and made it an exciting game. Flynn Chesler showed his speed and did a great job on the counter attack, while Roman Brush showed off his offensive capabilities and shot the ball very well.
On wednesday, varsity played Menlo and lost 12-6. John Iwers played outstanding defense and controlled the ball well on offense. David Silvestre was a strong force at the center foward position forcing the defense to double team him.
